Brains Digital carried out the asset’s survey via 3D laser scanning tools and aerial digital photogrammetry in order to create a detailed model of its actual state, also elaborating computational design algorithms for the creation of complex geometries. The model thus created, along with the geometrical and non-geometrical information thus gathered, served as a reference point for the following design stages.
The project provides for the redevelopment of the building designed by Carlo Broggi in 1928. The asset, located in the middle of Via Veneto, features a complex arrangement of broken pediments, columns, pillars and glazed openings and is laid out onto five floors above ground, two cover levels and four underground floors, for a total gross surface of about 24,200 sqm.
